Davnel Semexant

In 2016, Davnel participated in a Miami-based “Art of the Sail” auction with a laser painting on a piece of jib sail from The Impossible Dream catamaran. He was a guest on the catamaran and sailed around Manhattan prior to painting.

His painting sold at auction and Davnel was able to make purchases with the gift card he received.

Davnel continues to paint and his work has been widely celebrated in schools, on display, donated and sold since Laser Painting Program’s beginning.

Peter Bian

Officer McMillan saw Peter’s painting at the NYC Disabilities Pride Parade booth in 2018 and asked if he could buy it. Peter duplicated the painting and several months later Officer McMillan met Peter to pick it up.

In addition to receiving a check, Peter was given an honorary pin from the Unit. The painting now hangs in the main hallway of the Brooklyn Police Academy’s Drivers Training Unit.

In Memoriam

In loving memory of Laser Painters, Joseph Lopez and Erica Hernandez. Also, we’ve lost a great supporter of the arts in education and Laser Painting Program, David Marquis, founder of Marquis Studios. Their spirits all live on in the work they’ve done and the lives they’ve touched.
